Peace is what you have found
May you rest in eternal peace
and may the Peace of God that surpasses understanding guard your families hearts and minds
Here's to you George Class of '70
George was a good friend of mine. I used to go hiking with him at Caumset State Park. He had a great sense of humor and was one of those truly innovative free souls. It is with great sadness that I mourn his passing but with great joy that I was fortunate enough to get to know him.
Spent alot of time with George and got in plenty of trouble when we were in St. Martin's. Good friends through HS. May he rest in peace and his family be well.
Met George in first grade in St. Martin of Tours in Bethpage. It was the beginning of a great and enduring friendship. Spent a few summers knocking around out West trying to find ourselves. George married and had two wonderful kids, Lucas and Evette, both Plainedge grads themselves. I miss his unique personality, always willing to give a hand when needed. I think I'll go listen to some Grateful Dead music now.
